With the opening of his Nobu at One&Only Cape Town, world-class master chef Nobuyuki 'Nobu' Matsuhisa expands his eponymous empire with the debut of his first restaurant in Africa.
No stranger to worldly culinary influences, Nobu gives classical Japanese cuisine a contemporary twist. Diners can indulge in fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices in mesmerising dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno or the Suntory Whisky Cappuccino
Nobu Lounge, on the restaurant's upper level, features a selection of Sakes including plum wines, Japanese beer and a creative selection of Sake and Shochu-based cocktails.

Every alternate month, the restaurant will feature a fine Cap Classique
producer and their sparkling wines, pairing them in an evening of fabulous bubbles and flavours in the Nobu Lounge
. In the months in-between, some of the country’s most iconic wineries and winemakers will be conducting ‘Vertical Masterclasses’
going back over several years, each wine paired with the very finest cuisine Nobu restaurant
has to offer.
