Night Manager

As Night Manager you will be responsible for managing the night operation of all departments. You will be providing a warm welcome to guests including late arrivals, and assisting with early departures.

To succeed in this role you will need to have previous experience within a similar position, preferably within a 4/5 star property and have the confidence in dealing with guest complaints ensuring they are resolved to the guest’s satisfaction and in accordance with our standards and procedures.


• Represent the Managing Director and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the entire resort at night.
• To ensure the correct and efficient running of the Night Audit section throughout the night and to provide a management presence whilst on duty.
• To report any concerns regarding operations to the relevant department’s managers.
• To provide a supporting position for the auditors and to manage the staff effectively, maintaining an excellent level and quality of service for guests at all times.
• To deal with any and all guest complaints in an effective manner.
• Serve as a point of contact for regular and VIP Guests.
• Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these, as required.
• Compile adequate night report/handover to Early staff / Executive Management.
• Conduct Safety and Security checks and night walks, and maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas.
• Assist with maintenance issues where possible.
• Perform other related tasks as requested by Executive Management.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of overall hotel operations.
• Night Audit experience is essential.
• Good working knowledge of Opera is essential.
• Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organizational skills.
• Have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Display polite and professional attitude to all guests.
• Effective decision making skills.
• Pro-active and reliable.
