One&Only Cape Town is looking to secure the services of a suitably qualified Security Controller/Supervisor who meets the following requirements and needs to fulfil amongst others, the below duties:

Education, Legal & Experience Requirements:
• PSIRA registered
• GRADE B Certificate
• 2 – 3 years 5-star Hotel security experience
• No criminal Record
• First Aid & Fire training would be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of 24/7 CCTV Surveillance Camera System
• Able to work shifts
• Responsibility for keys and handling of cash floats, safes and doors
• Managing of Security Personnel
• Shift Reports
• Basic Computer Skills, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word
• Fluent in English
• Telephone skills
• Ability to respond to emergency situations
• Processing of Lost & Found items
• Staff Searches
• Dealing with Guests
• Lock readings
• After Hours goods receiving
• Management of parking area for events and functions
• Safe keeping of all department equipment
• Delivery of service productivity in line with management requirements

The successful candidate will need to be able to work under extreme pressure, be of sober habits, be available on call and ensure that the policies and procedures of the property are adhered to at all times. Maintain confidentiality and high self-discipline. The Security and safety of the staff and hotel guests being of paramount importance.
